Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human services field
- Coursework in Child Development, Learning Theory, Applied Behavioral Analysis
- Minimum of 12 months of supervised experience with children who have developmental disabilities
- Pass an initial criminal background check
- Have a current driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
Expectations:
- Provide Habilitative Intervention
- Provide family education, as needed
- Provide family training
- Provide Interdisciplinary Training
- Analyze and compile intervention data
- Write Program Implementation Plans (PIP’s)
- Consult with other professionals regarding participant needs
- Effectively communicate with parents/guardians and Clinical Supervisor (CS)
- Attend a minimum of 12 hours of ongoing training, annually.
- Become certified in first aid and CPR within 60 days of employment
- Turn in hours bi-weekly on time sheet for personal compensation
- Maintain a high standard of ethical conduct
- Renew Habilitative Interventionist Certification every two years
- No mileage or travel reimbursement
- Any other duties and responsibilities specified by supervisor
